Bedford NH Real Estate Market looks better in 2010…

Surge in buyer calls for homes, new homes, new construction, land and Bedford properties.... 

Its early January and the phones are ringing with new buyer activity.  We have known that the “pent up demand” in buyer activity would break loose soon and it appears to be happening sooner than expected…

Another surprise is the marked increase in buyer inquiries on new construction, a segment of the market that was hit particularly hard.  This is great news for buyers and sellers of NH new homes; there is a great inventory of NH new construction properties to choose from.

We are encouraged by this activity, agents are busy and we encourage buyers to get out there and take advantage of the tax credits (you need to have a property under agreement by April 30 of 2010 and close it by June 30, 2010). 

All indicators are that interest rates are going up in 2010, another reason to lock in a good rate in the 5’s and take advantage of the great values out there.

And Bedford NH seems to be in its own world.  The Bedford real estate market has remained stronger than most of NH towns, probably due to the great selection of market inventory, a great commuting location and the fact that Bedford is just a great place to live.
